Since 2001, Rhema Theatre Company have been bringing to life stories of hope, life and justice across the UK & beyond! Over the past 16 years close to 2 million people have watched our shows in theatres, schools, churches, prisons and online. And now we’re gearing up for the next phase…
We’ve been busy putting together a plan that will take us through the next 5 years. A plan that will include:
Working with more councils, police and secondary schools- Based on the success of ‘Stand Up For Salford’ we hope to work with many more multi-agency groups to make works of theatre on human trafficking or organised crime.
3 Major National Tours – ‘The Letter’ (the life and letters of St. Paul), a new play based upon the life of Israel’s King David, plus a new project telling stories of people persecuted for their faith. We also plan to keep touring our acclaimed theatre show ‘the It’s Not Fair!’ on human trafficking.
2 new short films – Based on the success of ‘Alicija’, 2 more films will be shot on the theme of human-trafficking.
5 summers full of Holiday Clubs – investing in young people and seeing their self-confidence, drama and music skills flourish.
5 different Christmas touring productions – Taking the heart of Christmas to approximately 40,000 people.
175 Easter Drama Days – Enabling over 30,000 children to explore the Easter story.
Plus other film/audio projects and developing our ‘Tales From the Miracle Book’ online.
To accomplish all this we are looking to raise a target of £35,000. Could you be a part of the story?
“I was really taken with the play. I was very impressed.”
